The Hall is 14mx10m and has an internal height of over 4m. The stage is 2.3m x 6m.
Is there disabled access?
The main door has a wheelchair ramp and there is a separate disabled toilet.
Are there tables and chairs?
The Hall has 100 soft dining chairs and over 30 trestle or Go-Pak style tables.
Is there a car park?
Yes – the Victory Hall shares its car park with an adjoining members’ club, it can accommodate over 60 cars.
Can we play or perform music?
Yes, the site has a Performing Rights Licence
Can we bring our own drink?
The adjoining Mobberley Victory Hall Memorial Club (MVHMC) holds the liquor licence. You would be expected to use their accessible bar, source drinks from them or agree a corkage fee for your own. They will be very helpful and you would be given their contact details.
What are the timings for the weekend?
You and your suppliers or contractors would normally have access from 4pm on Friday and be expected to have left the Hall by 1 p.m. Sunday. Equipment MUST be collected/removed by 1.p.m. Outside of school term time it might be possible to extend this access which is restricted during term time as we have a pre-school operating Monday to Friday.
When do we have to stop playing music?
The Hall sits within the village of Mobberley and we have to be mindful of our residents, so have an agreement that any music will stop at 11.30 pm. Inline with this, the adjoining bar will also stop serving at this point.
What facilities are there in the kitchen?
The kitchen has a domestic four ring electric hob and a catering style electric oven so is suitable for reheating and basic food preparation. Many hirers use a separate catering firm of course. The separate side room with access to both kitchen and Hall is easily big enough to set up for serving your food.
